The "encryption key" is a sequence of characters used by an encryption algorithm to encrypt plain text into ciphertext.

The "key" is typed in by you, the "note writer", in order to make the note unreadable to other people who don't know the secret encryption key.

How to use this feature ?
1. Type in the form field "Encryption Key" a sequence of chareacters.
2. Hit the "Encrypt" button, and the encryption process will begin.
3. After the encryption is completed "Encrypt" button will say "Done", and the note will become readonly and ready for sending.
4. You will recive by email the encrypted text and a special link on wich you can click to decrypt the note.

Important !
Do not forget the key !
We do not store the encryption key in our system so nobody can recover it.
